Takeover Grantmaking
Youth Takeover Week is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for youth ages 14 to 20 to step into the role of community grant makers. From July 28 to August 2, selected participants will join the Fun(d) Squad, a team of 22 youth who will take full ownership in deciding how real grant funds are distributed to support youth-centered third spaces in Natrona County.
Participants will learn about nonprofits, develop scoring tools, engage with their peers to gather feedback, review applications, and decide where funding should go. This is not a simulation. Your voice and your decisions will directly shape the future of youth spaces in our community.
Participants must be available to attend every day and will receive a $555 stipend for their time and contributions. Lunch will be provided each day.
