Our focus on the health and wellbeing of Natrona County residents extends beyond the grantmaking, community engagement, and advocacy work of the Trust. We have important responsibilities related to Banner’s purchase of Wyoming Medical Center in 2020. These responsibilities include:
- Providing a contribution of 3.33% of our net assets each year to Banner Wyoming Medical Center.
- Monitoring and enforcing Banner’s compliance with specific terms agreed upon when they purchased Wyoming Medical Center.
- Providing an annual report to the County that includes the Trust’s audited statements, tax documents, and a report on Banner’s compliance with the transaction agreements. To view these reports, please see below.

The Trust has retained the healthcare compliance and consulting firm PYA to provide independent monitoring services. This engagement will support the Trust’s efforts in evaluating Banner Health’s fulfillment of the commitments made as part of its 2020 acquisition of Wyoming Medical Center.
As part of our commitment to centering on community, we are open to hearing about your experiences regarding Banner Wyoming Medical Center’s transaction commitments. To provide feedback on Banner WMC to the Trust and PYA, please email [email protected].
