Shared services is a conceptual model that centralizes administrative and operational duties, allowing organizations to provide standard services such as HR, IT, and bookkeeping in the most efficient way. Shared services are cost-efficient because they centralize back-office operations that are used by multiple divisions of the same company and eliminate redundancy.
