Board spotlight: Meet Jennifer Gladson

The Natrona Collective Health Trust board is representative of the diverse voices of Natrona County. Over the coming months, we’ll be introducing you to our board members through a series of Board Spotlight blogs. See a full listing of board members on our “Who we are” page.

If you’ve spent any time in Natrona County, you’ve likely seen the impact of Health Trust Board Member Jennifer Gladson’s commitment to this community, whether you knew it or not.

Jennifer is an Associate Broker with the J Team at RE/MAX, and she brings a powerhouse of experience to the table: over a decade in real estate, several years leading a national cosmetics sales team, and 18 years in commercial lending. But ask her what matters most, and you won’t hear a word about titles. You’ll hear about family, community, and a deep desire to make a difference.

Originally from Paris, Texas, Jennifer moved to Wyoming in 1987. “I’ve been married to my husband, John Lichty, for 25 years,” she shares. “We’ve raised four kids here—Payton, Brock, Courtney, and Kylee—and now we’re lucky enough to be grandparents to six amazing grandkids.”

In her free time, Jennifer loves being outdoors, getting her hands dirty in the garden, or flipping houses. “I love the sun and water,” she says with a laugh. “On vacation, you’ll probably find me on a beach somewhere with a book in my hand.”
But there’s one passion that keeps calling her back: Casper. “I am passionate about this community,” Jennifer says. “It’s important to my husband and me to give back—to donate our time and resources to make it a better place for our family and the community as a whole.”

That same spirit is what led her to the board of the Natrona Collective Health Trust. Jennifer is a founding member of the Trust Board and currently serves as the vice chair. She chairs the nominating and governance committee and is an active member of the program committee.

“The Trust has the opportunity to touch so many lives on so many different levels,” she says. “I’m proud to be a part of it.”

Her connection to the work isn’t just professional—it’s deeply personal. Jennifer shared an experience that shaped her involvement: “My sister struggles with mental illness, and I suddenly found myself in a situation where I was her guardian for a year. I had no idea where to turn for help—for her or for myself. The resources of the Trust were invaluable during that time.”

That moment made the Trust’s mission feel even more urgent. “Mental illness and homelessness are huge issues in Casper. The Trust and its partners provide a broad spectrum of services to our community—and I’ve seen firsthand how much they matter.”

Jennifer has been rooted in Natrona County for more than 30 years. “I’ve raised my family here, and now my children are raising theirs here too. My husband was born and raised in Casper. We’re firmly entrenched in this place.” Over the years, she’s served on boards for the Boys and Girls Club, Wyoming Rescue Mission, True Care, and the WMC Foundation. John has done the same—committing decades of service to organizations throughout the community.

When asked what keeps her tied to this community, Jennifer quickly credits the people of Natrona County. “They’re down-to-earth, hardworking, and very philanthropic,” she says. “I’ve met more people in Casper who would give you the shirt off their back if they thought you needed it. They roll up their sleeves and get in the trenches to do what needs to be done.”

Looking to the future, Jennifer hopes to see more collaboration across local organizations. “There are so many amazing groups doing great things. But working together, the community as a whole will be unstoppable,” she says. “The Trust has made huge strides in bringing folks together for the greater cause. I hope that continues to expand.”

She also recognizes the need to stay flexible. “This is an ever-evolving world. I imagine our vision and focus will shift as programs are put into place and transformative change happens. The Trust will need to remain adaptive as needs arise.”

As one of the Trust’s founding board members, Jennifer has seen it all—the early challenges, the growth, and the promise ahead. “We’ve made mistakes and learned so much over the past few years,” she reflects. “There have been so many accomplishments, and there are only more amazing things to come. Natrona County is very fortunate to have this opportunity.”
