Natrona Collective Health Trust announces spring grant recipients

The Natrona Collective Health Trust announced today the recipients of its 2025 spring grant cycle. More than $1.4 million in two-year general operating support was awarded to 19 organizations, and eight nonprofits were selected to receive resource grant services in the areas of grant writing and translation.

Four of the recipients are new partners to the Trust, while the remaining organizations have previously engaged with the Trust through grants or strategic initiatives.

General Operating Support
This spring, the Trust awarded two-year general operating grants to organizations whose work primarily serves Natrona County residents. Funded areas include mitigating adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), promoting positive childhood experiences (PCEs), expanding access to mental and behavioral health services, supporting early childhood development, and advocacy.

“Research shows that positive childhood experiences- such as having stable, caring relationships with adults, feeling a sense of belonging, and learning coping and problem-solving skills – are closely linked to better mental and physical health later in life,” said Samantha Smith, senior director of programs and community engagement at the Trust. “That’s why we’re proud to support a wide range of organizations, including arts programs, mentoring initiatives, youth sports, and more, all dedicated to helping young people feel safe, capable, and connected. These experiences do more than shape childhood- they lay the foundation for lifelong well-being and a stronger, more vibrant community.”

Resource Grants
The Trust’s resource grants provide access to targeted capacity-building services:

• Grant Writing Support: Selected nonprofits will partner with a Trust-funded consultant to build grant readiness, identify additional funding opportunities—including federal and national foundation grants—and prepare and submit competitive applications.
• Translation Services: Through a partnership with GLOBO, grantees will gain access to on-demand and scheduled phone or video interpretation, as well as document translation in over 350 languages.

The list of the 2025 spring grant recipients is below, and full details of the Trust’s past and current nonprofit partners can be found on its website.
