Meet Ray
Sr Director of Programs & Community Engagement
What brought you to this work?
I’ve spent the majority of my professional life working in the community to help make it a better place for everyone. Understanding the critical role we all play in helping build a healthy and vibrant place to live has long been a passion of mine. I believe how we organize our community, whether in economics, politics, law, or policy, directly affects human dignity and the capacity for individuals to grow. Finding common ground for the common good is crucial to the welfare of all its members. I am so grateful to continue this work in our community to help it grow and thrive. Helping to ensure that everyone, including the most vulnerable, have a voice and resources to grow is one of the most important things we will ever do.

How do you spend your free time?
Spending time with my four amazing kids ages 16-20 is one of my favorite things to do. I am an avid fan of basketball especially the Boston Celtics and enjoy attending any basketball games I can. I adore the outdoors and love to hike, camp, fish and spend time in nature. When I can, I enjoy reading, especially political news. I have an unhealthy obsession with superheroes including but not limited to Superman. Finally, I wouldn’t be nearly as successful if it weren’t for my amazing wife Susie who has supported me in all my endeavors and dreams.
